How can I start investing?

People can start investing in the stock market at almost any age. For a Brokerage account, all that is needed to start an investment account is typically just your information and you can start one online. This information is likely your: Drivers license, Social Security card, and other identifications to make sure you are able to obtain a brokerage account. But, If you are under the age of 18, you can only open a custodial brokerage account in terms of brokerage accounts. 

Brokerage account: A brokerage account is an investment account that allows you to buy and sell a variety of investments, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs.

Custodial brokerage account: The term custodial account generally refers to a savings account at a financial institution, mutual fund company, or brokerage firm that an adult controls for a minor.
